Copywriter and editor based in Washington, D.C.

About Me

At my core, I am a storyteller. In the professional world, that has manifested in job titles such as copywriter, editor, blogger, and social media manager. I currently serve as the Assistant Manager of Communications and Research at Kidsave International, a nonprofit organization that serves older youth in foster care. As with any nonprofit, I juggle a lot of responsibilities including copywriting for web pages, blog posts, social media, promotional materials, funding requests, and research initiatives. I’ve also had the privilege of writing articles covering the Milwaukee Brewers for Wisconsin Sports Heroics as a freelancer.

My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from the University of North Alabama (c/o 2017) and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from University College Dublin (c/o 2020).

Creative Writing

While I love copywriting and editing, creative writing will always have my heart. Since graduating with my MA in Creative Writing from University College Dublin in 2020, I have had two short stories published.
(Note: both works were published using my maiden name.)

“Burn” by Chloe Allen, published in From the Shadows : A Printed Words Anthology Edited by Amanda Steel (2021). Buy it on Apple Books or on Amazon.

“Rooftop Talks” by Chloe Allen, published in Intermissions : Original stories selected by Grattan Street Press (2021). Buy it on Amazon or at Grattan Street Press.

Sports Writing

In addition to being a mega-nerd, I’m also a big sports fan—especially baseball. It only makes sense for me to combine the two whenever I get the chance. Below are the sports-themed articles I’ve written as a freelance writer.

“Milwaukee Brewers had Lady Luck on their side in Las Vegas, sweeping the Oakland A’s” by Chloe Fuller https://wisportsheroics.com/milwaukee-brewers-sweep-the-oakland-as/

“Honoring the Women of the Milwaukee Brewers this International Women’s History Month” by Chloe Fuller https://wisportsheroics.com/mlb-milwaukee-brewers-womens-history-month-luisa-gauci-sara-goodrum/

Social Media Management

In addition to writing and editing for Kidsave, I have had the privilege of managing all of the organization’s social media. In the 3 years I have managed their social media, Kidsave has seen 20-30% follower and engagement growth year over year. Here are just a few examples of campaigns that I have created and led at Kidsave.

Posted January 8, 2025 in response to the wildfires in LA:

“Due to the devastating wildfires impacting Southern California, we closed our office in Culver City today, and while our team is currently safe and taking all necessary precautions, some have suffered devastating losses. Out hearts are with all of those affected.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our Los Angeles team with heartfelt messages and calls of concern. We are truly grateful to be part of this community that comes together in difficult times.

Our staff remains dedicated to our cause for older kids in foster care, and those who are able continue working remotely.

Stay safe, LA!”

Posted February 1, 2025:

“February is Black History Month, a celebration of the Black community and an acknowledgement of the obstacles and hardships they continue to face.

We’ll be highlighting issues impacting Black youth and families in child welfare spaces, elevating Black voices, and sharing insightful data from the 2023 Kidsave-Gallup study on Black Americans’ perspectives and experiences in foster care.”

Posted June 3, 2024:

“Happy Pride Month! We are so excited to celebrate Pride Month with all of our LGBTQ+ families, staff, and youth!

At Kidsave, we know that it’s love that makes a family, and you can read the stories of these amazing families at the link in our bio.”
